Our Practice:
Smart Dental is a new business, founded in 2017 by Dr. Svetlana Kilgannon. It is a natural progression having previously been a successful partner in 2 dental partnerships in the last 4 years. During time spent with previous partnerships, she has gained a broad experience in different areas of Ireland. Having realised that she has plenty of her own ideas that she would like to pursue she decided to start her own dental practice.
Smart Dental is a general practice dental surgery with a special interest in aesthetics and short term cosmetic orthodontics. We offer a broad list of dental services:
- Children dentistry
- Routine dental services
- Short-term orthodontics
Advanced aesthetics: like advanced teeth whitening, highly aesthetical fillings, veneers, crowns, dentures; sports dentistry, periodontal treatment, full mouth rehabilitation (may require some referrals), regular oral cancer screening, oral health screening for people with lifelong diseases (diabetes, various heart conditions, dry mouth syndrome, sleep apnoea…etc.)
We provide those services in the most efficient way, by using wide range of modern technologies: from electronic medical histories, text messages appointments reminders and confirmations, inter oral cameras for better visualization, monitoring and recording of the problem, modern visiographes and full mouth X-rays ( orthopantomogramma) to confirm the diagnosis; to wide range of highly trained specialist referrals in case of need of special attention.
Our team consists of highly sympathetic and supportive individuals, who understand the specifics of the patient-dentist relationship:
- how stressful the dental appointment can feel;
- previous bad experience(s) and the effect it may have on future dental treatment;
- the need to settle any anxiety and to bring about a great experience, we understand it may take some time and we are glad to give it to you to help to reintroduce yourself to dental treatment at your own speed, by developing a treatment plan to include multiple appointments if needed.
